What’s Included in Your Split System Installation

What is a Back-to-Back Installation?

A back-to-back install is where the indoor wall-mounted unit is placed on an external-facing wall, and the outdoor unit is mounted directly on the other side of the same wall. This allows for a short, efficient connection with minimal materials and labour.

Installation Conditions

  1. Easy Access Needed
    ‍    We need clear, easy access to the areas where the air conditioning units will be installed—both inside and outside.
  2. High Installations May Cost More
    ‍    If the unit needs to be installed more than 2.4 metres above the ground, there may be extra labour costs due to safety rules.
  3. Extra Travel or Location Costs
    ‍    If the installation is in a busy area (like the city, CBD, or an island), you may need to pay extra for travel time, parking, or ferry costs.
  4. Electrical Setup Must Be Safe and Close
    Your home’s wiring and switchboard must meet safety standards and be within 15 metres of the outdoor unit. If it's not, or if we need to run more than 15 metres of cable, extra charges may apply.
  5. Agreement on Extra Costs
    If there are any extra charges, we’ll let you know before starting. You’ll get the invoice after the job is done.
  6. Deposit to secure installation time
    In some cases, we may ask for payment for the unit before we begin the work.

What is not included in this price?

Wall mounting brackets, poly or concrete mounting slab, roof mounting bracket, Copper/electrical cable/interconnecting cable/ drainage pipe over & above the included limits, electrical conduit, power board upgrades, solid wall core hole penetration, double brick penetration, removal & replacement of tin roofing, roof space cable runs, internal wall installation works, condensate pumps, PVC caps & elbows, cost of access machinery if required, removal of an old A/C
